As you may know, I recently lost my mom. So, I know firsthand how it feels to grieve someone that you love so much. But, through my pain I still feel a need to encourage others. I’ve created some daily affirmations to get me through this tough season.
Christian Affirmations
- I am accepting God’s will for my loved one.
- My loved one is now in the Hands of God
- The Lord is my strength, and I am an overcomer.
- I will see my loved one in Heaven again one day.
- I choose to not give up on life and my purpose..
- God already knew this would happen so He will walk me through the pain
- I will honor my loved one by living my life the best way I can.
- I have decided to remember the good times of my loved ones.
- God loves me and He sees my pain.
- God has healed my broken heart.
- I am still neeeded by the Kingdom of God
- I have hope because I know Jesus said He is the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Him will live even though they die and whoever lives by believing in Him will never die.
- My physical, mental, and emotional health is a priority.
- I will not run away from God but come in this difficult time closer to Him.
- I am willing to receive professional help if needed.
Please consider reaching out to professionals if you need additional help and remember that there is nothing wrong with getting others involved in your healing process. This is a traumatic experience, and grief centers are out there to help support you. Most of these places can be free, but if not reach out to a local church in your area for help. Remember to take care of yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Don’t run away from God. If He didn’t heal your loved one on Earth, you can rest assured that they are healed in Heaven! Please seek God! He is the Only Thing that can help us all get through this time! His ways are not our ways! (Isaiah 55:8-9) God saw far more than we did! (Proverbs 15:3) He heard thoughts and prayers that we didn’t hear! (Psalm 139:1-2) So, don’t push Him away because He didn’t heal your loved one the way you thought He should’ve. I know it hurts but don’t push away the Only One that can truly help you. I pray this blessed you and that your heart is open to receive! God bless you!
